First fridays in the north village arts district
What is it?
First Fridays is a free art crawl in the North Village Arts District on the first Friday of each month from 6pm to 9pm. Galleries, shops and business will be open with music, art demonstrations, children’s activities, refreshments, and much more.
The North Village Arts District (NVAD) has loose borders from north to south, are Rogers Street to the alley south of Walnut Street and east to west, College Avenue to 9th Street. Each First Friday will be different, depending on time of year, and other activities happening in the downtown area. Complete information will be available on our Facebook page. First Fridays are free and open to the public. When you visit, don't forget to support your local artists and pick up some art!
how will each first friday be different?
Participation by NVAD business may change each First Friday. Some First Fridays may have an after party at a NVAD nightclub. In warmer weather, a children’s parade might be planned to start the evening. It is the goal of the North Village Arts District to provide an ever changing event that community members will want to visit each month.
